Merck commemorates World MS Day with awareness across Middle East
Merck, a leading science and technology company, joins the global Multiple Sclerosis, MS, community today in recognition of World MS Day, to raise awareness of the devastating disease. With the slogan ‘Life with MS’, Merck celebrates global solidarity and hope for the future.
Merck is committed to improving the lives of people living with MS through real-world data collection, support for caregivers and patients, as well as awareness programmes globally. In support of World MS Day, Merck has introduced a global carer partner survey with the International Alliance of Carer Organisations, to help identify unmet needs and bring visibility and support to family caregivers around the globe.
Experts call to build inclusive environment for patients with MS
Marking the World MS (multiple sclerosis) Day observed on May 31 every year, renowned experts in the UAE have come together to garner the support of medical associations, government and the public at large to advocate for a more inclusive, conducive and supportive environment for people living with MS. The aim is to remove barriers and create opportunities for MS patients so that they can live independently and participate equally in community and workplace opportunities.

دبي في 4 يوليو / وام / تبدأ هيئة الصحة بدبي منتصف شهر يوليو الجاري تشغيل أول عيادة تخصصية متكاملة لعلاج الصداع بمختلف أنواعه وذلك في مركز ند الحمر للرعاية الصحية الأولية على أن يلي هذه الخطوة باسبوعين تشغيل العيادة الثانية في مركز البرشاء في نقلة طبية خدمية جديدة حرصت الهيئة على تنفيذها لاستيعاب المصابين بالصداع المترددين على عيادات الأعصاب في مستشفى راشد والبالغ عددهم 5000 آلاف سنويا.
